Loaves of bread stacked in Susan's kitchen

About the baker

Susan kneads.

I’m Susan — a cottage baker working out of my own kitchen, the same one where I’ve fed my family for years. What started as weekend loaves for neighbors turned into a habit, then a calling, and now a little bakery with a front-door pickup routine.

Everything here is made in small batches, by hand, with ingredients I’d serve at my own table. The sourdough rises slowly overnight. The cookies are baked the morning you collect them. Nothing sits under fluorescent lights waiting to be bought.

Because this is a home bakery, the menu changes with the seasons and with what looks good at the market. If you want something you don’t see, ask — custom orders are half the fun.
